Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you pressure wash everything?
No. In fact, many surfaces, like vinyl siding, stucco, wood, and roofing can be damaged by high pressure. For these materials, we use a soft washing technique, which combines low-pressure water with professional-grade cleaning solutions to safely and effectively remove dirt, algae, mold, and mildew.

Q: What is soft washing and how is it different from pressure washing?
Soft washing uses low pressure and specialized detergents to clean delicate surfaces without damage. Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to blast away dirt and grime, which is ideal for harder surfaces like concrete and brick. We assess each project to determine the safest and most effective method for your property.

Q: Is pressure washing safe for my siding, deck, or roof?
Yes, when done correctly. That’s why we evaluate each material before starting and use the appropriate method. Roofs, decks, and siding are typically cleaned using soft washing to avoid damage while still delivering a deep clean.

Q: Will your cleaning damage my landscaping or plants?
We take great care to protect your landscaping. Our solutions are biodegradable and applied in a controlled manner. We also pre-wet and rinse surrounding plants to minimize any risk of chemical exposure.

Q: How often should I have my home or building washed?
Most properties benefit from an annual cleaning, but the frequency can vary depending on location, weather exposure, and environmental conditions. Homes near trees or water sources, or in high-humidity areas, may need more frequent cleanings.

Q: Do you need access to water and electricity?
Yes, we typically require access to an outdoor water spigot and sometimes a standard electrical outlet depending on the service. We assume all exterior outlets and equipment are properly installed, outdoor-rated, and compliant with manufacturer specifications.

Q: What should I do to prepare for service?
Please ensure all windows and doors are securely shut and locked, and move any outdoor furniture, potted plants, or décor out of the service area. Pet waste should be removed from the yard before arrival. For interior services, such as carpet or upholstery cleaning, please move fragile or valuable items to a safe location.

Q: What if I have damaged seals, leaks, or sensitive areas on my home?
Please let us know in advance about any known leaks, damaged window or door seals, or surfaces you’re concerned about. This helps us plan and avoid unnecessary water intrusion or damage.

Q: Can you remove all stains, mold, and mildew?
While we can dramatically improve the appearance of most surfaces, some stains, especially those that are old or caused by rust, paint, or oxidation—may not be completely removable. We do have a few secrets up our sleeve and with a little extra time and elbow grease we’re able to get the desired result and we’ll always do our best to set clear expectations upfront.

Q: Is your company insured?
Yes. Transparent Property Services LLC is fully insured for your peace of mind. Our team is trained, experienced, and committed to delivering professional, safe service every time.

Q: Do you offer commercial services as well?
Absolutely. We provide exterior cleaning services for storefronts, office buildings, industrial properties, apartment complexes, and more, including dumpster pad cleaning, graffiti removal, surface cleaning, and fleet washing.
